In this 2 part series we’ll look at some of the different varieties of food available at Takeaway shops on the Central Coast.
Kebabs originated in the Middle East. On the Central Coast you will find that most places serve a kebab as meat that has been shaved from a spit that cooks the meat. It tends to be served on a bed of vegetables with sauce or hommus and wrapped in pita bread.
Popular meats are: beef, lamb and chicken. Falafel is also generally available as a vegetarian alternative.
